Cameron | Lakewood

This girly found me through instagram, and boy did we have a GREAT time shooting her senior portraits!

Cameron is a Lakewood High School Senior graduating in 2024. When her mom reached out to me asking about senior portraits, she sent me her instagram to reach out to her daughter, and it was a match made in heaven!

Cameron dedicates a lot of her free time to volunteering for The Fairytale Foundation, as well as participating in the drama club and mock trial. Her hobbies include film, photography, and music. Her personality was so bubbly and exciting, and I really think it shows through in a LOT of her photos. These are just a few of my favorites.

We started off the morning at this GORGEOUS (secret!) lily pad pond. I picked her up at 6:45 in the morning, and we started our hour long drive to this gorgeous location. When Cameron sent in her senior questionnaire, she told me that she wanted to somehow incorporate the fairytale foundation into her shoot. Basically, I took that as “princess vibes”. I sent her a little mood board I made which consisted of a few inspiration photos; ponds, cottage core vibes, flowy dresses, etc. She wasn’t sure where she wanted to go for her two locations, and I gave her a couple options that I felt looked more “princess-y.” She chose the lily pad pond, and I was SUPER stoked. The way the sunrise hits there is UNMATCHED. I think these photos portray that. Her charismatic smile and bubbly personality made it even better; it was a perfect fit!

The second location was JUST AS GOOD as the first! Cameron chose to go to Miller Nature Preserve in Avon, and once again, I was so excited! I absolutely love the gardens there, as well as the green house! The trees provide plenty of shaded areas, as well as the open garden and pond that provides plenty of sunlight for beautiful golden images. It’s truly one of my favorite places to take pictures! The first three images are giving “Cover Girl” in the absolute BEST way. I am so proud of these photos.
